As 2007 comes to a close, take a look at our Year in Review (PPT). Save the date for our next YASD meeting on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at North Shore Public Library from 10-11:30 a.m. We will be discussing Teens and Technology.
If you are uncertain the YASD meeting on December 13 will be held due to inclement weather conditions, please call the Middle Country Public Library at (631) 585-9393- they will have an automated message indicating any closings, delayed openings, etc.

Please update your calendars: Due to a conflict with another conference, the 4th Annual Fran Romer Memorial Teen Services Workshop has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Harborfields Public Library. It promises to be an exciting day of speakers and discussions, including Keynote Speaker Stacy Creel from St. John's University. Find out more about the workshop.
In celebration of Teen Read Week, YALSA and readergirlz have teamed up to present 31 authors for 31 days! Throughout the month of October, readers will have the opportunity to engage in a nightly chat with an author in an open forum, including our upcoming Luncheon speaker Sarah Mlynowski on October 11!
